Abstract:

The aim of the article was to recognize whether, within the framework of the conducted housing policies in the municipalities of the Poznań agglomeration, actions are taken to meet the housing needs of the seniors. To this end, provisions concerning housing policies were analysed in the strategic and development documents of the surveyed commune.

The research shows that the communes' activities focus primarily on adapting the social infrastructure and the cultural offer for spending free time to the needs of the elderly, which is to counteract the social exclusion of the elderly in the commune. Senior housing policy in the analysed municipalities is insufficiently implemented.
