Abstract:
Following the outbreak of war in Ukraine, refugees seeking refuge have flocked to Poland and other EU countries. One of the important factors enabling refugees to function in a new place is access to information, supporting decision-making regarding housing, work, health, education, also affecting the sense of security. The article presents the results of a survey on meeting the information needs of Ukrainians arriving in Poland. As a result of the analyses, it was found that in most cities refugees have access to the information they need. They rate this information relatively highly in terms of currency, usefulness and understanding of the content contained. They positively assess the support of officials in dealing with various matters. In the context of integration processes into Polish society, Ukrainians take up work, which is the basis of their livelihood, children and young people participate in the educational process.
