Abstract:
This study aims to improve students' analytical and numerical skills through metacognitive strategies on solubility topic. This research is a qualitative research with classroom action research method. Stages of the implementation are exploration, reflection, evaluation, and planning. The result showed that the improvement of students' analysis ability increased by 57% at the end of cycle 1 and the improvement of this analytical ability increase in cyclical two by 86%. The average score of students increased in cycle two by 13.72 and the mean score of 57.14 in cycle 1 to 70.86 in cycle 2. While the numerical ability of students are an increase in cycle 1 of 63% and a significant increase in Cycle 2 of 86% by the average value in the first cycle of 57.71 and increased the average value of students cycle 2 to 69.00.
