Methodical Features of Statistical Support of Regional Innovation Policy

Abstract:

The article substantiates the need for the widest possible expansion of the general sample of organizations participating in the provision of statistical information on the implementation of innovation activities. Authors allocate two main directions of such expansion – more large-scale inclusion of the enterprises of a services sector in the list of the surveyed organizations and decrease in number of the organizations staff since which providing statistical information on issues of innovative activity, from 15 to 10 people is imputed to the organization duty. The authors also substantiate the application in Russia of a subject approach to the statistical survey of enterprises' innovation activity that contributes to the allocation of factors that affect the innovative activity of organizations and the assessment of such influence, taking into account regional characteristics.
