Abstract:

Efforts to optimize material flow have become a very important issue for a manufacturing company that wants to succeed in today's strong competitive environment. Companies are constantly making their production process more efficient, enabling them to produce as many products as possible, at the lowest cost possible, but not at the expense of quality. This goal can be achieved by efficiently managing material flow from material input to company to final distribution to the customer. In order for an enterprise to be able to investigate material flows, it is necessary to know the methods and procedures that are important to conduct the analysis and to choose appropriate according to the characteristics and needs of the enterprise. In this article we deal with definition of material flow and methods of material flow analysis.
