Abstract:

The performance of the phones has evolved considerably, but the applications are the ones that really turn them into indispensable tools for everyday life, both professionally and personally. Developers are constantly rushing to keep up with the trends of the technological world. Every time something innovative appears, people's demand goes to it. Thus, in relation to trends and innovation, companies have begun to realize the importance of mobile application development services. Therefore, mobile application development companies are trying to come up with applications that have better interfaces, using new coding practices. The authors aim to conduct research to highlight the increasing use of mobile phone applications in carrying out activities within an organization. An organization of the categories of applications available in Google Play and AppStore is performed, their main features being underlined. At the same time, the criteria that must be taken into account when developing a mobile application are presented.
