Mobile Sound Processing as the Source of Competitive Advantage in Online Marketing Environment

Abstract:

The need to constantly communicate with online communities of formal and potential customers is forcing the companies to quickly produce great amounts of high-quality content. However, creating digital content that would meet the quality expectations of the Internet audience requires time demanding preparation and a rather long production process. Due to the increased speed of the content consumption, weeks of production spent on a couple of posts shared on social media start to be ineffective. Finding new ways how to provide the followers with intriguing content in a shorter delivery period and with a lesser technical load on the company seems to be a way to gain a competitive online marketing advantage. The present paper explores possibilities of professional sound track execution while using commonly available mobile devices such as phone or tablet. Outputs generated with the help of these devices are compared with the sound signals recorded with complex studio equipment in order to set a quality scale.
