Modeling And Simulation Of The Interaction Between Soil And The Heat Exchanger Pipe Of A Heat Pump

Abstract:

Geothermal energy is one of the renewable energy resources that can be exploited by using heat pump installations. Since the heat extracted by heat exchangers in the soil comes from nearby soil, creating a numerical model of the thermal field around the heat exchangers becomes a necessity. In this context, we developed an original 3D non-stationary model that models the interaction between the heat pipe and soil in various geometries.
