Modelling and Development of Project Office for Resource Supply Organization

Abstract:

The active development of any organization determines the presence in the company of a large number of projects related to various industries. This necessitates the implementation of a corporate approach to project management as temporary structures established to achieve the required results. The discipline of project management allows you to organize structured management of the main constraints of any project - timelines, budgets, functional frameworks, while observing the quality requirements of the final project product. This article discusses the task of organizing a project office for a resource supply organization in order to create a centralized project management apparatus and implement strategic initiatives. As the standard of project management and the basis for creating a model of the project office, the PRINCE2 standard was chosen, while ArchiMate was chosen as a tool for modeling the organization's activities. The model obtained as a result of the study is the basis for creating an existing project office in the organization in question.
