Modern Economic Development: Problems and Prospects

Abstract:

The paper reveals the consequences of the unipolar system of the world economy provided by the United States leadership in the military-technological, financial-economic, geopolitical and information-ideological spheres. The conclusion is substantiated that the gap between world leaders from the rest of the world in terms of indicators reflecting the dynamics of the standard of living, the quality of life, scientific and technological progress, has grown significantly after the collapse of the Soviet pole. The preconditions for the transformation of the world order are identified.
