Abstract:

Today under the current financial and economic crisis and the implications on the functioning of all Romanian organizations is becoming increasingly necessary to restructure the entire health system to increase efficiency, quality and efficiency of care provided to hospitalized patients. The computerized Diagnosis Related Groups (DRG) change, for the first time, the paradigm of a Romanian hospital functioning from the level of the resources and process to the results of the activities reflected in hospital patients. Thus, the DRG system creates a "picture" of the hospital results and competitiveness at the level of overall health system.
