Relevance of the research is defined by the fact that under conditions of building of innovation economy, difficulties of staff selection and management, motivation to creativity and innovation acquire special significance. Innovation and employee motivation to participate in innovation processes are required for any organization’s long-term success and sustainability. Staff motivation should facilitate innovation development which, in turn, should motivate the creation of new innovations. The article examines main staff motivation trends in innovative companies, reveals modern methods of motivation, analyses factors affecting success of innovations. Authors believe that innovation requires creation of staff selection, training, adaptation and motivation systems. Innovative organization’s staff management must be flexible, direct and use individual approach.
