Abstract:

The most important direction of regional economic policy is the policy of bank sector development and strengthening. Knowledge of regional economy development features, in particular, knowledge of customers and their requirements gives competitive advantages to regional banks over other financial institutions which are active. The analysis of Kursk bank sector is described in the article. There is a description of institutional characteristics, regional bank services availability, liabilities formation and assets operations.
