Abstract:

This article is devoted to the study of the specifics of competition between higher education institutions in the global education market. Given the specifics of market conditions, an analysis of the approaches of Russian and foreign researchers is carried out. This analysis includes the prospects for the use of competitive concepts or their combination in modern investigations. The types of competitive strategies used by universities around the world are presented, and their essence is revealed. In the context of global competition, modern universities should monitor the competitive environment in order to select and implement promising competitive strategies.
