Modern World Experience of Economic Agents’ Cooperation: Trends, Problems, Prospects

Abstract:

One of the trends in the modern world economy is the development of cooperative processes that have significant potential to ensure employment of the population and the satisfaction of material needs. The purpose of the study is to identify the main trends, problems and prospects for the development of cooperation based on the study of world practice. When writing the article, methods of observation and description, analysis and synthesis were used. The empirical base was the research data on cooperative processes; international consulting agencies; information materials of Internet resources, and the development of the authors obtained in the course of the study. The article deals with the historical aspects of the cooperative movement; analyzed the structure of cooperation at the world level; presents the ratings of the world's largest cooperative economic agents in the context of the main industries. The authors have identified a number of national characteristics of cooperation; evaluated the impact of a pandemic COVID - 2019 on the movement of cooperative processes; identified the main prospects for further development.
