Monitoring of the Development of the Service Industry in Russia and Foreign Experience in Service Activities

Abstract:

Service activity is one of the most important spheres of development of the modern economy, aimed at meeting the needs of people and improving the quality of life of the population. At the same time, unlike many other branches of the economy, service activities do not lead to depletion of natural resources and show considerable stability in comparison with other sectors in conditions of an unstable situation on world markets.

The success of firms involved in this area depends on many factors - the right strategy, high professional level of employees, their dedication to their business, good information systems, skillful implementation of plans. Successful companies of all levels have one common feature: they are customer-oriented, they strive to understand and satisfy the needs of the buyer. In such a company, each employee is focused on the production of excellent quality goods, leading to a high level of satisfaction of consumer demand.

To understand the importance of studying and introducing foreign experience into the practice of service activities in Russia, it is necessary to make sure whether the basic concept of the "service" work is understood equally in Russia and abroad. As you know, services that meet public and personal needs are an integral part of the functioning of the infrastructure of society. Services are used to serve material production, non-productive sphere and, directly, the population.

The increased need of domestic service in innovations particularly sharply poses the problem of the development by Russian enterprises of innovation services in the organization of services and forms of customer service that come to us from world practice. Note that when innovations come to us from the practice of the services of other countries, their development does not always happen immediately and without losses. Those promising services that developed during the Soviet period and which at first glance could easily be integrated into the commercial environment, in fact, not always succumbed to this transformation for many reasons.
