Abstract:

Having regard to the significance of the financial mechanism of higher education institutions in Ukraine as an important component of the state's policy, a comprehensive analysis of its effectiveness is of particular importance, as it will allow to identify and monitor the  negative tendencies and determine the directions of overcoming them. Taking into account the importance of the studied issue, the article offers a new approach to quantitative measurement and comprehensive assessment of the effectiveness of the financial mechanism of higher education institutions in Ukraine to assess the situation in this area.
