Abstract:
Motivation at work remains a key concern for any organization, whether public or private. Its presence among employees is likely to increase the performance of the organization, while its absence leads to the opposite. Motivation stimulates effort and the adaptation of effective behaviors to individuals at work. One of the first tasks of any manager is to motivate his employees to provide as much effort as possible, thus motivating all employees in the chain. Employee motivation is a process of stimulation of them by the organization through the management factors for fulfilling the tasks that come from the job description at a level of performance meant to lead to the achievement of the organization's mission. In this context, the article aims to conduct an empirical theoretical research on motivation of personnel in the public organizations. Thus, it conducts an in-depth analysis on main theories related to human resources motivation and presents the concept and dimensions of work motivation in the public services sector.
