Motivational Determinants of Entrepreneurship of Polish Students

Abstract:

The purpose of this article is to identify the motivating factors for Polish students in entrepreneurial activities and to identify their strength. The article is of a theoretical and empirical nature. The method of cognitive-critical analysis of world literature on the subject and statistical analysis of primary data obtained using the survey method were used to prepare the publication. The results of the conducted analyzes indicate that the motivation of Polish students to undertake entrepreneurial activity expressed in readiness to choose an entrepreneur's career path and engage in entrepreneurial activities is strong and results from: the need for self-realization through exerting an influence on the environment, the need to support and meet the  needs of the loved ones, competition needs and economic needs.
