Multi-Faceted Model Computational using Correlation Analysis for Online Social Network (OSN)

Abstract:

Online Social Network (OSN) is widely used by people all around the world. It is an online platform enables people to exchange information, get in touch with family members or friends, to promote business etc. borderless. Due to popularities of the social sites has raised a lot of problems related to privacy and security issues, trust has become one of the most important issues in OSNs. Trust needs to be facilitated into OSNs, to provide users with the necessary tools and much desired freedom to express their subjective views of trust just like in the offline world. In this paper, we identify a number of privacy and security issues as well as challenges of trust within the context of OSN. We leverage the multi-faceted model trust concepts from user-centric personalized trust model and determine the ranked of importance among reputation, reliability, competency, credibility, confidence, faith, belief, and honesty using correlation technique, furthermore, we also distribute the weightage for each attributes.
