Multidimensional Analysis in Stroke (ACV) – Incidence of Mortality among Cardiac Diseases with Variable Blood Pressure in Romanian Neurology Hospitals

Abstract:

The latest World Health Organization (WHO) statistics on the main causes of mortality show that cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death worldwide. Thus, of the 17 million deaths due to cardiovascular disease, 7 million were caused by ischemia and 6.2 by cerebral congestion. Incidentally, non-communicable diseases caused two-thirds of deaths in the world in 2017, compared with 60% a decade ago. Among the non-communicable diseases, those who killed the largest number of people were cardiovascular diseases, cancer, diabetes and chronic lung disease. In addition, statistics show, 80% of deaths from non-communicable diseases occur in developing countries. However, in rich countries, 87 percent of all deaths are due to a non-communicable disease. This percentage is reduced to 81% in middle-income countries, 56% in middle-low income countries and 36% in poor countries. The study was conducted on 2 454 800 people with variable blood pressure worldwide.
In this paper we present the study carried out on a sample of 2800 patients from the Neurology Hospitals in Brasov, Bucharest, Cluj, Timisoara from Romania
