Multidimensional Data Representation and Design Practices for Marketing Databases

Abstract:

A company is dependent of various information and operations. Information can usually be stored in written form by filing documents. In some cases, for example in accounting, this form of storing information is mandatory. In other cases, however, where there are no legal regulations on how to keep records of documents, it will be trusted to use computer tools such as CDs, DVDs or even as files stored in computer memory. The growing needs of companies and the high level of competitiveness as to how information is used and the speed at which it can be accessed have prompted great innovations in data storage. Thus, computer applications have been developed to allow users to design databases, from its structure, to the actual input and updating of data. Multidimensional Data, Relational Database   and Using Database with Python are very hot topics today, and for good reasons. Companies are sitting on a treasure trove of data, but usually lack the skills and people to analyze and exploit that data efficiently. Those companies who develop information systems and implement the right application to analyze and exploit that data will have a clear competitive advantage.
