Abstract:

The use of social networks experiences has not only in the Czech Republic a significant development. In the article there are analysed the ordinary users of the Internet and social networks in the EU-28 and in the Czech Republic and use of social applications and the Internet in connection with obtaining information from public authorities. The article contains also literature review. Even though not all the population in the Czech Republic uses the internet and social applications, we can recommend the use of clear and accessible websites and also social web applications.
