Abstract:

The article is devoted to the study of the experience of building national systems of technical regulation and standardization operating in different countries of the world. An analysis of systems in more than 30 countries of the world revealed two basic development models, the features of their modifications and formulated recommendations for the Russian system. The first model is characterized by an essential component of state regulation, and the second type by the independence of the institution of the system from direct subordination to state authorities. The tendency of convergence of models and the potential for the formation of an adjacent variant of the organization of processes are also identified.
