Abstract:
Any of the agricultural crops turn natural resources into organic matter, as main and secondary products. These, fresh or processed, provide, first of all, the food of the population. Corn, for example, through industrial processing, can cover food and animal needs, as well as household necessities, with reference to renewable energy, which reduces oil dependence while preserving a healthy environment. It is desirable to evaluate the vegetal waste resulting from the exploitation of the species with the largest share in arable, exemplified in Romania. The results of statistical data processing at global and regional levels, as well as research results, encourage the Romanian economy to rely on agricultural producers.
