Abstract:

The paper covers a modified system capable of determining the level of maritime emergency automatically. The outcome of testing the system, which is based in the fuzzy-set theory, is the key to searching through a new approach. the involvement of neural network technologies contributes to the development of a system that allows one to determine the value of the emergency level exactly according to data through the method of expert assessment. The paper is focused on the calculated errors of training a neuro-fuzzy system. they demonstrate the practical ways of applying the neuro-fuzzy approach in order to solver the problem identifying the maritime emergency level.
