Occupational Risks Assessment In Border And Inland Custom Offices

Abstract:

This article aims to present methods of assessing the risks of accidents and occupational diseases of workers, in order to facilitate the fulfillment of obligations of employers in the prevention of risks at work. National and European regulations contain recommendations on the application of legal safety and health requirements for work and for the use of work equipment ; these recommendations are addressed to all interested parties, such as: employers and workers in operational processes.

The article proposes good practices in support of employers, workers designated for prevention and protection activities, prevention services and workers, in order to apply the provisions of the national Law no. 319/2006 on occupational safety and health and the applicable legislative and technical regulations. The questionnaire method is applied to identify, collect data and then assess the potential occupational risks, then the results comparison with those obtained throught the national method is reported. Finally, a brief action plan is drafted to support regulations implementation in custom border offices.
