Occupational Safety and Health Analysis in the Covid-19 Pandemic

Abstract:

The aim of the publication is to demonstrate that Polish microenterprises from the Central Pomeranian region took various measures to increase the sense of occupational safety and health during the Covid-19 pandemic. The safety of workplace, employees and customers of microenterprises is so important because it has a significant impact to the proper functioning and development of the entity and determines the decision-making process. Unfortunately, the findings of the research show that that as many as 68% of the surveyed entities were negatively affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. This despite the fact that the organizations applied a number of safeguards features to increase the sense of occupational safety and health. The analysis of the collected data covering the year 2021 indicates that this study should be treated as a survey study. This provides an opportunity to expand the area and scope of research. The presented research results indicate that, depending on the type of activity, as well as legal epidemic restrictions, microenterprises increased the safety of employees and clients in different ways and with different tools during the development of the COVID-19 pandemic
