An Ontological Framework towards Unplanned Information System Outages in Organizations

Abstract:

The paper introduces a modem ontological model for entreprise business continuity  management. The  proposed framework  can serve as a standard ontological model for the timely recovery planning of an information system in case of an unforeseen interruption of its operation. The model has been developed based on, firstly, ontologies dependent on the level of generality and, secondly  ontologies for crisis management including communication as a core entity.
