Abstract:

Contemporary studies regarding roles of academicians in an entrepreneur ecosystem are focusing on the education side, leaving less attentions on how the effect of spill-over works on the two parties. This paper expanded attentions on academicians’ role from the ecosystem, and discuss a trade of benefits among academic and entrepreneurial sectors. In order to simplify roles of the two parties and focused on gains from the collaborations, Open Innovation paradigm is recommended as a link between academicians and industry.
