Organization Culture in Managing a Modern Academic Library

Abstract:

The academic library, like other organizations, is constantly changing due to operating conditions that impose a new way of preserving people in the organization and a new way of solving problems in order to implement the library's tasks. One of the elements ensuring the efficiency of operation inside the library is organizational culture. Library management, taking into account organizational culture as an extremely important element in achieving the organisation's intended goals and its strategic development, may determine the success of the challenges taken. The aim of the article is to draw attention to selected aspects of organizational culture and to signal significant values ​​in managing a modern academic library.
