Organizational Performance as Influenced by Al-driven Talent Management in Retail SMEs: A Review

Abstract:

This review examines the impact of AI-driven talent management (HM) on  organizational performance in small and medium-sized retail. In light of the rapid advancement of AI technology, it is crucial to monitor the impact of AI technology on organizational structure and operations, internal business processes, customer interactions, and the business model. This paper offers a comprehensive examination of the current state of AI in talent management, exploring its impact on recruitment and selection, training and development, and performance appraisal. Furthermore, the paper examines the influence of employee engagement on AI-driven talent management and organizational performance. Despite the prevalence of AI in various industries, there is a paucity of empirical research investigating the impact of AI-driven talent management on the performance of small and medium-sized retail organisations. Consequently, this study examines the potential impact of AI-driven talent management on the performance of small and medium-sized retailers. Furthermore, it offers insights and recommendations for organisations and HR professionals considering the introduction of AI technologies in the workplace.
