Abstract:
Lack of attention to job satisfaction as basic human needs leads to some organizational abnormalities and insufficient reactions at workplace. The purpose of this article is to examine how different factors, such as: organizational pride, work - life balance, leadership style and rewards simultaneously affect the employee job satisfaction in SMEs. The fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis was used. The paper is structured as follows. First, the four factors connected to employee job satisfaction were analysed. Then the sample used was described together with the measures used for each variable involved. Finally, the main results obtained were shown and discussed, and conclusions were drawn regarding future research directions.
