Abstract:
In order to succeed or keep on the market, company must constantly adapt to change. Major changes are brought by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which forces companies to implement new technologies and tools of industry 4.0. To determine if enterprises are ready to implement the industry 4.0 concept and to what extent new maturity models or tools for measuring and evaluating the readiness of companies to industry 4.0 are emerging. The core of this study is the characterization of existing maturity models evaluating the concept of industry 4.0 at the enterprise level that were identified after review of the literature. Furthermore, the study aims to identify maturity models that address business process readiness to industry 4.0 (process approach). As a result, a table is created that compares maturity models according to certain criteria, and also evaluates whether the model contains or evaluates at least some business processes.
