Perception of Young Entrepreneurs about the Impact of Covid-19 in Romania

Abstract:

The Romanian economy is currently in a period of instability, financial and labour. To overcome this period of economic crisis, the government has chosen to provide a lot of funding, from the national budget and the EU budget, thus helping to restart the SME sector.

There have been many problems in the financial market: significant losses on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, the exchange rate increases significantly, the collapse of the price of oil.

After May 2020, the relaxation of the number of COVID-19 cases offered entrepreneurs the hope that they will be able to restart their business, that they will be able to return to the level they were before. For the crisis period to be overcome as soon as possible, the government provided funding and support to all those companies that were affected by the crown crisis.

In this article, we will present how the COVID-19 crisis affected the major industries, starting with the medical one, which was the most affected, and ending with telecommunications and IT, segments that had a lot to gain during this period
