Abstract:
This article is to analyze farmers' perceptions of climate change in the North West region of Tunisia ( Beja ) and the strategy Semi Tardif (ST) implemented by farmers from a survey of 57 farmers. This research shows clearly that farmers perceive climate change and realize that the climate changes, these changes result in a reduction and increasing irregular rainfall, a disorder of the winter season and increased drought frequency that have a negative impact on performance. These new challenges bring farmers to adopt coping strategies; the most replicated is the ST. In response to these problems, two approaches will be applied the descriptive and the other econometric.
