Abstract:

One of the ways to increase the security level of IoT networks is by using symmetric cryptography, which requires the secure distribution of symmetric keys. Currently, several solutions are offering the distribution of one symmetric key to many network nodes. This article aims to present the results of research comparing the performance of such systems. Each of the tested systems uses a Raspberry Pi 3 and a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0 that provides hardware support for cryptographic operations.
