Personnel Competences of a Company in Industry 4.0

Abstract:

The aim of this article is to identify and assess key company competences in terms of Industry 4.0 and related challenges. In particular, it seeks to find out what personnel attributes a company should have to be able to effectively compete in a world of advanced technological strategies developed as a natural consequence of technological progress, development of production means, growing awareness and requirements of consumers, and innovation. These elements are indicated as extremely significant in the transformation of industry, reflected in the digitization of production, automation, and production plants combined into coherent and comprehensive chains based on automatic information exchange (Almada-Lobo, 2016). While posing a challenge for companies, these phenomena also allow them to achieve greater results in contemporary world.
