Position of Process Management in Transformation of Traditional Organizations into Knowledge Based Organizations

Abstract:

Knowledge management is actively using synergy effect between the three basic pillars: human resources, organizational processes and technologies, which chosen institution should be able to use in processes of knowledge management. The actually running processes within the organization are one of the most important component for implementation principles and methods of knowledge management. The main goal of this paper is Process Management - Controlled Transformation from traditional into knowledge organization using process management. The main goal is identifying, which factors are able to make a real effect in described transition processes of organizational change from traditional into knowledge based subject.

Specific objectives:

  1. Analysis of the actual phase world economy development in turbulent global environment and new regionalism with potentials in competitive economic complex and Slovak and Czech position in comparison with other European Union member states. Showing dominant position of knowledge in public organizations with focus on its importance during formulating new model of economic and social policy in recent time.
  2. Society change analysis in connection with knowledge management: globalization, digitalization and virtualization effects on economic and social environment with an accent on labour market, structural changes and institutes creation.
  3. Connection pointing between education level and needs of the public organizations consistent with costs for science, research and education.
