The results of the research have highlighted the advantages of using modern informatics methods in the agricultural field, the development of precision agriculture in Romania and at European level. The strategies for the digital transformation of agriculture in developing countries, as in the case of Romania, must combine the informatics infrastructure with the social, organizational and political changes.
