Abstract:
This study aimed to determine the factors that influence the intention of students of the Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta (FE UNJ) by applying Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) which is widely used in research to predict behavior. To solve the problem in this study, a quantitative approach was used. The research population in this study were students of the Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The data used in this study was obtained through the Judgment Sampling which is a type of non-probability sampling technique. To test the relationship between variables in the research model, the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach will be used. The Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique in this study will use AMOS 24. The PLS (Partial Least Structural Equation Modeling) model assessment criteria used in this research. The results showed that of the six proposed research hypotheses, three were accepted, namely: attitude (attitude toward behavior), control (perceived behavioral control) and the interaction between attitude (attitude toward behavior) and gender. The control variable was the one with the strongest influence on the intention to be entrepreneurial, followed by attitude, and subjective * gender.
