Abstract:

The considerations contained in the article concern project management issues with particular emphasis on the functions of the control process. The aim of the article is to diagnose control in EU project management, systematize theories constituting the genesis of control as a management function, and to synthesize the concept of control in project management. The research hypothesis is: control procedures are the factor that determines the efficiency of project management by establishing rules of operation and the implementation of corrective actions. The research method used in the research was the analysis of existing data, the so-called desk-research.
