Abstract:
This article discusses a digital marketplace enterprise that focuses on digitising the traditional process of custom metal product manufacturing through a distributed network of manufacturing partners (distributed manufacturing). The digital marketplace model necessitates continuous improvement in project management within the studied enterprise. The article explores the possibilities of executing projects in collaboration between metalworking enterprises and a digital marketplace company. To achieve this, a literature review on project management was conducted, along with an analysis of the potential implementation of selected methodologies. Furthermore, the study examines how project management initiatives implemented by the studied enterprise affect its operational activities and those of its manufacturing partners. The article also presents the application of the ProGuide methodology in project management and assesses its implementation.
