Abstract:

The given research is focused on the studying of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project management practices application for choosing the most appropriate practice and improving business results of an enterprise. Organizations worldwide are dependent on ERP systems for their day-to-day operations, as this software allows enterprises to integrate wide range of business processes throughout different functional areas for increasing productivity, efficiency and their competitive advantage (Ramburn, Seymour, Gopaul, 2013). Grabot, et al. (2008) outline the importance of ERP for the any organization and name it the ‘backbone’ of the information system of the entity.

Through the qualitative data and using interviews with the experts the practice for project management (PM) was examined for determination the most relevant practice in ERP-related projects.
