Project Planning with Limited Resources and as Part of a Project Portfolio

Abstract:

As a result of the analysis of the causes of delays in the implementation of projects, it was found that it is possible to save about 30% of the global time of project implementation through the appropriate systematization of work organization. In project management, network methods are widely used, which allow full understanding of the structure of the analyzed project. These methods force a precise analysis of all work performed, and thus limit improvisation during project execution. The use of network planning in project planning is based on the assumption that each project can be decomposed into a finite set of activities .
