Abstract:
University Spin-off Activity gives exposure to both students and faculty members at broad level. In recent years, universities have focused more on spin-off activities as means of transferring and engaging students in different research activities. The main of this paper is to analyze the incubation strategies developed in the Universities in Karachi, Pakistan. Both, the performance of the university spin-offs created and its relation to the incubation strategies developed by different universities are analyzed. The analysis will be based on data from a survey of different universities that carry out different strategies in promoting of University Spin-offs Activities, and how the new stage of Universities Incubation strategies is been proposed. This paper will also highlight PESTEL factors associated to those spin-off activities by universities that try to achieve high level of performance. The result will focus on the resources and human capital needed to gauge the incubators for promoting Spin-offs Activities at University Level.
