Abstract:

In this paper a method for calculation of prediction propagation losses in suburban environment at 300 MHz frequency band is proposed. It is dedicated for short range (up to 1 km) communication link and takes into account location of the buildings. To estimate attenuation, proposed model uses ray tracing combined with Fresnel zone occupancy calculation.
