Proposal Of A Universal Model For Evaluation Of Virtual Tour Service

Abstract:

The paper presents the concept of a universal measurement tool for evaluation of virtual walks and virtual tours services. The tool is called Model C. Its design is the result of many years of experience and research on virtual museum tours in Poland. This paper provides a brief description of the research conducted and the characteristics of models used. The subsequent analyses revealed the imperfections of research apparatuses used at that time and the literature study and e-service trends resulted in identification of needs and challenges that should be addressed by their successor. The presented concept – Model C, will be further tested and, if necessary, improved. It will also be used in research planned for 2021/22 on virtual tour services for national museums in Europe using AR and VR technology.
