Abstract:
Interest in strategic consensus remains strong even after decades (Walter,Kellermans & Floyd,2013; Stepanovich & Mueller,2001).The author proposes an expansion of the construct of strategic consensus .The focus of this research is on developing an integrative framework with a case organization, a public university , in mind and with a view of subsequent full application in future. Various literature viewpoint on strategies consensus are considered and those most relevant to the suggest in line with current research, that major renegotiation of the purposes and functions of the university is occurring in several countries. Universities are undergoing major reform pressures, which are altering the way in which it is required to conduct its business (Habib, 2015; Cowen, 1996).
