Abstract:
This paper aims to answer some simple questions: What will be the future contribution of coal to energy needs at national level? Will he be able to face a competitive market in the context of sustainable energy development? Economic and power operating limit of deposits attracted into the economic circuit and the extent to which it can use to produce electricity and heat their mark on industry competitiveness? In our opinion, especially with the depletion of oil, coal's role has begun to be reconsidered. Geographical distribution, accessibility and availability of coal reserves, makes it a strategic resource that will continue for a long time to say the word in ensuring national energy.
